Librarian Day 2022

According to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Former President of India, the libraries are the heart of the institutions.
KBS & KBS Learning Resource Centre celebrated Librarians day on 12th August 2022, to mark the birth anniversary 130th of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan known as Father of Modern Library Science in India. His most notable contributions to the field were his five laws of library Science which had worldwide influence.
On this special occasion Library was decorated. The program started with the lighting of the lamp by Prof. P. K. Mishra in the presence of Library committee members. This was followed by a quiz competition for KMS PGDM students. The competition was a grand success with active participation of the students where they also won the prizes.
