A Workshop on Bibliotherapy

Techniques for Academic Librarians – A helping hand towards the student community was organised by Kohinoor Business School, Kohinoor Management School, in association with the BKC Knowledge Network. Ms. Ravija Srivastava, Image Consultant, and Ms. Kajal Makwana, Psychologist were the resource persons for the workshop. As a part of the programme, Mr. Pralhad Jadhav was awarded a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ for completing 90+ webinars and seminars during this epidemic period. The training workshop was well attended by professionals and comprised activities that were fun and offered hands-on learning. The participants learned about the different library and non-library resources used for Bibliotherapy. Participants enjoyed evaluating their own emotions during the psychodrama ... a fantastic exercise that threw back interesting surprises!! Libraries can use this therapy for the holistic and emotional development of the students. The workshop concluded with felicitations ceremony with the participation certificates to all the resource members by Dr. Bharati Deshpande, Program Head-MMS – KBS.
